Are you a member of the Vero Beach High School Class of '78?

Hi, I'm Danialle Weaver, a VBHS '78 class member.

About our 20th class reunion:

The reunion was held Friday, June 26, through Sunday, June 28. I think I can safely say we all had a blast.

If you missed the reunion and would like to be notified when (if) a 25th reunion is held, get in touch right now, while you're thinking about it! Send me an e-mail or drop a note in the mail (Danialle Weaver, P.O. Box 291452, Port Orange, FL 32129) with the relevant info, and I'll add you to the Web page and pass your information along to the Reunion Committee.

To order the 20th reunion memory book, you need to contact: Reunions Inc., Attn: Dept P, P.O. Box 876, Orlando, FL 32802-0876. You need to reference these numbers: 98-0668, Vero Beach Hi 78, Banquet Date 06/27/98, Vero Beach, FL. Include your name and mailing address. Make the check payable to Reunions Inc. The amount you are charged for the memory book varies, depending on where you live. The basic price of the book is $ 23.00. However, Florida and New York residents must pay sales tax, so the total for orders from those states is $ 24.61. Everyone must pay a $3.00 postage and handling charge. The deadline is August 17, 1998. If you mail your check after then, include another $3.00 to cover the late fee. Also, if you have any candid shots from the reunion, and they are clear, color 3-1/2 x 5 prints, send them along, too.

Those who didn't attend the reunion can also order the memory book. For those folks, please send in (within the next week or so) a photo of you or you and your spouse with the relevant info from above.

It will take four or five months to produce this custom book, so be patient.

If you would like to share digitized photos of the reunion for this Web page, please let me know.

Digital Reunion

Do you have an e-mail address or home page? Send me an e-mail with the relevant information and I'll add a link to you on this page. (Here is an alternate e-mail address in case the other one's not working.) I hope this can help keep us in touch with one another well beyond the reunion itself. (Note: if you attended the reunion and listed an email address, I didn't list it here unless you specifically gave me permission to add you here.)

Also, if you could let me know how you stumbled across this page, it would help. Thanks!

Local Hotels

There aren't many Vero hotels on the Net, yet.
When you're in Vero, please be sure to patronize the Vero Beach Inn. The proprietor, a Class of '68 member, was kind enough to give us out-of-towners a special room rate for the reunion, and we'd like to make sure he's still in business during the next reunion! Right on the beach. 561-231-1600.
South Beach Motel. Expensive.
LocalEyes Keyword search for hotel phone numbers by location. This listing has 32 Vero hotels.
Travel Now Make reservations on-line. (This site only lists five hotels, all chains.) Allows on-line booking of airline, hotel and more.
Travelocity Although this site now requires user registration, it is very good nonetheless. Allows on-line booking of airline, hotel and more.
